APOLOGIES FOR THE MULTIPLE MESSAGES: We would like to correct details for the location of the press conference.

DATE: Thursday, July 21 from 11:00 - 11:45

LOCATION: Press Conference Room 2 (LIVESTREAM HERE) - THE ONE INSIDE THE MEDIA CENTRE & NOT OUTSIDE

DETAILS: The international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders (MSF) will host a press conference to launch the 18th edition of “Untangling the Web of Antiretroviral Price Reductions.” This report provides a comprehensive overview of pricing for first- and second-line as well as salvage regimens of HIV drugs.

The report analyses trends in pricing and examines multiple global threats to access to affordable treatment, including trade deals which threaten India’s role as the “pharmacy of the developing world.” MSF has been treating people with HIV/AIDS since the late 1990s and currently supports treatment for more than 250,000 people living with HIV in 19 countries, primarily in Africa.
