PHOTOS: The stories of Somali refugees living in Dadaab camp

Dear media colleague,

As the announced closure of the world’s largest refugee camp draws closer, and thousands begin the return to war-ravaged Somalia, Doctors Without Borders (MSF) calls for other alternatives to be urgently considered by the Government of Kenya and the UNHCR.

Dadaab has been home to 277,000 refugees from Somalia, Ethiopia and Sudan for 25 years. It faces imminent closure on 30 November.

Today we share with you a SELECTION OF HIGH RES ALL USES PHOTOS taken from the Dadaab refugee camp, depicting the lives of the hundreds of thousands who have come to call this home after fleeing the war-ravaged Somalia.
